Privacy
Privacy
Short version: no ads, no analytics trackers, no comments, and your email is only used to send new stories if you ask for them.
Hosting
This site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP address and browser details) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, and may set strictly necessary security cookies when it detects suspicious traffic.
No tracking or advertising
The site does not use advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking cookies. Comments are turned off.
Your appearance settings
If you choose a light or dark color scheme or reduced motion, that choice is saved in your own browser’s local storage. It is never sent to the site.
Email subscriptions
If you subscribe, your email address and the time you gave consent are stored so new stories can be sent to you. You will be asked to confirm your address, every email includes an unsubscribe link, and your address is never sold or shared for marketing.
Embedded videos
YouTube videos appear as a preview image loaded from YouTube’s image server (i.ytimg.com). The video player itself, from youtube-nocookie.com, loads only after you press play; from then on Google’s privacy policy applies.
Links to other sites
Links to other websites, such as Instagram, are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies.
